Claro rolls out iPhone 3G

The Claro 3G line of exclusive handsets includes a sophisticated selection from major brands such as Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Nokia and Samsung. The extensive range of the latest styles and colours has been carefully designed and selected with you in mind.

Complete contract

In order for individuals to get an iPhone, they will need to complete a contract in-store and choose from three plans based on their needs. There is the 18-month, two-year and three-year plans. Customers pay $4,600.84 per month, irrespective of the plan they choose. Each plan attracts an upfront deposit to be paid.

However, if individuals become delinquent in honouring their contract, they have to pay a penalty of $1,316.36 each month for the remainder of the contract, without being able to access the service. The collections department will send out a monthly statement advising the customer about their bill.

REQUIRED CUSTOMER INFORMATION

  • Valid ID (passport, driver's licence, national ID)
  • Proof of address (two recent utility bills)
  • Credit statement or bank statement with address on it.
  • Deposit.
  • Completed contract written up in store.
  • Proof of income (last three pay slips)
  • Three recent remittance slips or bank statements (for self-employed persons).
