CARING FOR YOUR SOFAS AND CHAIRS · Avoid placing your new suite or sofa in direct sun light. Many fabrics are known to fade in strong sunlight. This causes variation in colour, making the furniture look old. · To prolong the life of your furniture plump up cushions and rotate regularly · DO NOT sit on the arms of your sofa/armchair, as this will damage the frame. · Keep sharp items and pets with claws away from your sofa, these can scratch or rip the fabric on your sofa and chairs. · If your sofa set has fixed cushions you should rotate the furniture within the room to ensure that each piece receives equal amount of use.
CLEANING YOUR SOFAS AND CHAIRS · Light, gentle vacuuming of the cushions, frame, seams and joints of your suite will help to keep your sofa looking clean and new. · Follow instructions carefully if your suite has washable covers. It is advisable to wash covers alone and separate from other items/ · Covers must be dried outside but avoid strong, direct sunlight which may cause the fabric to fade. · Always mop up a spill off your sofa as soon as it occurs. Drinks like tea and coffee, and colourful foods like curry or tomato ketchup will quickly stain. · Use kitchen paper or a soft, damp cloth to mop up spills. If a stain persists, try a mild detergent or specialised stain remover.
