Six-month gift from Singer
Singer furniture store has introduced to its valued customers the Six-Month No-Interest plan. You are required to pay a deposit of 20 per cent of the cost of an item and the remaining balance can be paid over a six-month period.
With this plan, you can pay no interest if you settle the regular cash price within six months, without attracting any interest. If you forfeit this agreement, the regular cash price contract is reverted to the one-year plan and attracts an interest of 26.4 per cent. However, you can close your account at any time.
Trying to meet needs
Simone Mahabeer, product manager at Singer, said, "Singer is trying to meet the needs of the customers, especially during this time where persons are faced with economic challenges, so we thought the product will give back and assist our customer in making their Christmas purchasing by extending this one of a kind offer of the six months."
Not only this, but there is a no deposit plan where you can pay only the first month's instalment without paying any deposit on the regular cash price when taking out large appliances or furniture, including ready-to-assemble furniture.
This offer is not valid for small appliances and furniture and customers spending over $150,000 are not eligible for the six months without interest. Once the process is completed, the sales agreement will take 24-48 hours to be approved, and delivery is done within three to five days.
REQUIREMENTS
- Name and address of two relatives and one friend.
- Proof of employment (two last pay slips or job letter).
- For self-employed individuals, a letter from a JP or pastor.
- ID (passport, national ID, or driver's licence).
- Utility bill.
- TRN.
- Picture for first-time buyers.
A guarantor might be required depending on the credit history of the customer, and those who need a guarantor cannot use security personnel except in the rank of superintendent or supervisor.
GUARANTOR REQUIREMENTS
- Job letter or last two pay slips.
- ID (passport, national ID, or driver's licence).
- TRN.
- Must be employed for two years or more.
